We’re a small company. Is there really a way to make a corporate wellness program effective but not spend too much money?

In small companies each employee is a key employee. Lifewellness Institute knows that small businesses often face tight budget constraints and limited resources. Does the Lifewellness Institute have programs to encourage employees to quit smoking?

Smoking is a personal choice, but it’s also an addiction that increases the risk of cancer and cardiovascular disease. Lifewellness Institutes has created smoking cessation programs that incorporate education and support. We may also recommend a smoking cessation support group or additional wellness counseling. At Lifewellness Institute, we encourage clients to adopt lifelong healthy behaviors, and breaking an addiction to smoking is a milestone in committing to healthy living.

What about my employee’s privacy?

We’ve already tried health fairs and presentations. How is Lifewellness different?

Health fairs are a great way to introduce health and wellness to your employees, but great programs get them engaged in the process. Our programs are fun, educational and impact the lives of your employees.

My employees have medical coverage. Why have them take a health risk assessment?

Health risk assessments raise the awareness of participants so they know their personal health risks. HRAs are a way of motivating employees to take control of their health and focus on the issues most essential to their wellbeing. It will also give the employer an opportunity to measure the overall health of the company and tailor future wellness programs to address the most pressing needs. Those companies who offer health risk assessments in conjunction with a wellness program found 90% participation of employees.

What is a wellness coach and what can they do for my employees?

A coach is a trained expert who will support participants in setting and achieving your health goals, whether it’s smoking cessation, weight loss or work/life balance. Coaches have an ongoing partnership with their participants to form a trusting relationship, facilitating long last behavior changes and inspiration to maximize potential. Each coach is trained to listen, observe and help guide participants to healthy new habits.
